DR. MUHAMMAD ABDULLAH AZAD
Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Azad holds Ph.D. in Information Technology from Finland. He joined IOU in 2015 and since then he has been working as the Head of the Information Technology Department. Dr. Azad has over 13 years of research and teaching experience. He has served at several universities in Pakistan and Finland. He has taught various courses and has supervised a number of undergraduate projects and postgraduate theses. He has authored more than 30 research publications and has presented his work in a number of international conferences. He is also a frequent reviewer for various international journals and conferences. Dr. Azad has received 5 research excellence awards and a best paper award. In the last 5 years, his papers have received more than 400 citations.
DR. ABU EESA
Dr Abu Eesa worked as a software developer for a number of years before completing a PhD in Medical Imaging writing software for chemotherapy response prediction in breast cancer patients at the University of Hull, UK. As a postdoc he took on the post of Research Fellow automating disease detection in retinal images at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. In his most recent post up until 2017 he held the post of Research Software engineer with the National Phenome Centre at Imperial College London. Dr Abu Eesa is also a part time student on the BAIS course at International Online University. He currently holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, MSc in .NET and Distributed systems and a PhD in Medical Imaging all if which he obtained from the University of Hull, UK.
DR. BILAL AHMED USMANI
Dr. Bilal Ahmed Usmani received PhD in Mathematical Biology from University of Glasgow in 2016 and M. Phil. in Mathematics from Karachi University in 2009. He has over a decade of teaching and research experience and has authored several research papers. He currently works as a full-time faculty member at NED University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi, Pakistan.
AZKA
Azka holds a Master in Information Technology from the Central University of Kashmir. Her research papers were presented at prestigious conferences such as the International Seminal on ICT and value Education: Issues and Challenges (2014) and National Conference (2014). Sr. Azka also worked on various projects such as Automation of Examination System of Central University of Kasmir, Employee Salary System, and Banking and Hospital Management System.
DR. MOHAMMAD IBN QASIM
Dr. Mohammad achieved his B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). He further received his Ph.D. in Information Technology from Australia. He published more than 12 research papers in peer-reviewed international conferences and journals. He enjoys teaching, doing research, reading books, enjoying time with family, and travelling, among other things.
EJAZ KHATIB
Ejaz G M Khatib is an Indian and has done B.E. in Computer Science, through Shivaji University, Kolhapur, India in 2004. He has about 8 years of experience in the field of IT Help-desk support and System Administration. He has been serving at DFI-Katara Cultural Village, Doha, Qatar, as an IT Technical Support Person from Dec 2010 till date. At Emad Traders, Doha, Qatar, he worked as the Desktop Support Engineer from Sep.2005 to Nov 2010. At Ebrahim Darwish Electronics, Dubai he worked as the IT Support Engineer from Sep. 2004 to Aug. 2005 and At Emad Electricals & Trading, Doha, Qatar, he worked as the Desktop Support Engineer from Jun 2003 to Jul 2004. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) on Windows XP and Microsoft Windows 2000 Server and at the MC ITP he is doing a course on Enterprise Administrator which is expected to be completed by April 2012, InshaAllah. He is fluent in English, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu and Marathi.
FASHOLA OLAYINKA NURUDEEN
Fashola Olayinka Nurudeen holds a Master in Information Technology and MBA in Management from the University of Lagos. He has the following qualifications: Six Sigma Black Belt Professional (SSBB), Business Process Management Professional (BPMP), Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), and Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD). Br. Fashola has an extensive experience in product specialization and development, process design and implementation, software development and database administration as well as IT training. Br. Fashola is currently working as a manager of product development at the EMTS – Etisalat Nigeria Ltd.
HASSAN SEIF
Hassan Seif holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Dodoma, and a Bachelor of Science with Computer Science from the University of Dar es Salaam. He has an extensive teaching, researching and writing experience. Hassan is working for Dodoma University at the College of Informatics and Virtual Education as a Lecturer. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Computer Science from KU. His research interest includes Data Mining, ICT4Health and ICT4 Education.
HUMAKOUSAR SANGRESKOP
Humakousar Sangreskop holds a Master of Computer Application from the BVB College of Engineering and Technology, Hubli, and a Bachelor in Computer Application from the AIIS & Management, Dharwad. She also has a Certificate in Android Development Using Java Technologies and Certificate in Web Component Development Using ASP.NET. Sr. Humakousar is a competent and highly talented lecturer. She currently lectures for the Anjuman Institute of Information Science and Management, Dharwad, as an information technology lecturer.
IBRAHIM ISA
Ibrahim Isa holds a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering (Electronics and Telecommunications) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria Nigeria. He is currently doing his masters in the field of Telecommunications focused on cognitive radio and LTE Advanced at the University of Kwazulu Natal, Durban South Africa. He joined IOU in 2017 with prior experience as a Laboratory Demonstrator for Undergraduates at University of Kwazulu Natal and as the Head of ICT Department/ICT Teacher at Hamd House Academy, Kaduna Nigeria. He has a SATNAC (Southern Africa Telecommunication Networks and Applications Conference) publication on Resource Allocation for Cognitive radio networks and is currently working on more publications. His research interests in the Electronics, Telecommunication, Computing, Artificial intelligence, Image Processing and Robotics. He is looking forward into doing another Masters in one of his fields of interest before proceeding for a PhD in sha Allah.
LAILATUL HIDAYA
Lailatul Hidayah holds a Master of Computer Science from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and a Bachelor of Informatics Engineering, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS). SVAMP: Sequence Variation Analysis, Maps and Phylogeny; Genomic Data Analysis of a Novel Genome; Trip Segmentation and Trip Purpose Detection are few from among her projects. Currently, Sr. Lailatul is a research assistant at the Monash University Malaysia. Furthermore, she is overseeing a telemedicine project and supervising the final year projects of the IT students.
MOHSIN NAZIR
Mohsin Nazir holds a Master in Information Technology from the Central University of Kashmir (J&K, India). He has an extensive teaching and research experience. Currently he is working for the Baba GhulamShah Badshah University at the Department of Information Technology as Lecturer on contract basis. His research interest includes Big Data, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things & Software Engineering. He has couple of Book Chapters on Cloud Computing and has numerous research publications. His research papers were also presented at various National Conferences and have also attended many National Workshops. Br. Mohsin has also worked as Systems Analyst in few Software Development Companies and has guided more than dozen of Post Graduate students in various academic projects/p>
RAADILA HAJEE AHMUD
Raadila B M Hajee Ahmud-Boodoo has a Bachelor degree in Information Systems and Technology and a Master degree in Computer Science with specialization in Software Engineering. She is currently doing her PhD in Information Systems at Curtin University of Technology, Australia. Her current research interests are directed towards the Semantic Web, E-learning and Web 3.0 in Education. She has several years of experience, both as an IT educator and as a Systems administrator, within Australia and abroad.
SHARYAR WANI
Sharyar Wani holds an MA in Information Technology from the International Islamic University Malaysia where he was given an award for the Best Student, 2013. He has an extensive lecturing, researching and teaching experience. He co-authored several publications such as Impact of Parallel Projects Management, Critical information security challenges: An appraisal, and Risk management in parallel projects: Analysis, best practices and implications to DBrain (gDBrain) research project. Br. Sharyar is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science from the International Islamic University Malaysia.
