During the month of the IOU Awareness, on October 1 and 2, 2019, the Gambian team organized a charity bazaar to spread IOU awareness and raise funds.

The event comprised of the sale of donated goods and services. Health care services such as blood pressure tests, hijaama, and weighing were provided.

The sisters were responsible for the cooking and selling of the food and drinks, while the brothers were responsible for selling other items like books, IOU cups, and clothing.

The successful activity would not be possible without the supervision of the President of the IOU Students' Union, Br. Aboubacarr Kujabi, his team members, IOU staff, and the students both online and offline students.
