December 8, 2019, the International Open University (IOU) and Yayasan Talim, a Malaysian Islamic Center, organized an onground graduation ceremony for 77 students of the Diploma in Islamic Studies programs, which are joint collaborative on-site programs in English and Malay languages respectively. 

Graduation opens the door for its participants to pursue higher studies with IOU in online programs such as the Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies (BAIS) in English and Bahasa.
